Undecided Question: Is it allowed to use Tesco Mobile for browsing the web on a laptop?

Christian Peters Asked: Undecided Question: Is it allowed to use Tesco Mobile for browsing the web on a laptop?

Im not too sure if it breaches the contract in any way.

It does say:
3.1 Inclusive Credit can be used for:

(a) texts sent in the UK to UK mobiles,

(b) GPRS browsing on the mobile internet in the UK

I am not to sure if that means only on a mobile.

Then although it says

4. Inclusive Credit and Data Charges

4.1 Inclusive Credit can be used on GPRS and 3G networks (as applicable to your handset), for personal internet use via your mobile phone whilst you are in the UK.

AND

You may not use your SIM Card:

(a) in, or connected to, any other device including modems;

(b) to allow the continuous streaming of any audio / video content, enable Voice over Internet (VOIP), P2P or file sharing; or

(c) in such a way that adversely impacts the service to other Tesco Mobile or Telefonica O2 UK customers.

IF it is not allowed and you still do it, will they know?

Please only answer if you are sure, thank you in advance.

If that mobile allows use of internet, then definitely you can use it for web browsing it does not matter whether you use it on your desk top computer or your lap top.

You are Absolutely right.Unfortunately, people can't see that because they look beneath their feet without looking at the whole image.

All they can imagine inside themselves is "I can't find a job !" or " Prices are growing fast !" or "My boss is an asshole but I can't say no !" or "I don't have anytime for my kids because I have another shift" or "the food is not healthy as it used to be" or "I need to get another job" or "I can't pay my bill anymore"…etc.

But they can't see the whole image and who is doing that to them. There is enough money for everyone on this earth.

Undecided Question: what is the best voice over IP (VoIP) system?

scuffryda Asked: Undecided Question: what is the best voice over IP (VoIP) system?

I am using a broadband satellite internet (up-to 2 mb/s) through Hughesnet.com but can switch to any satellite or similar ISP and need input on any VoIP system that are the best for this set-up.

Answers:

Answered:
VoIP won't work on satellite ISP because the uplink speed from your modem is too slow.i know as i tried Vonage on WildBlue.you will need a 2 way highspeed connection, like most cable modems or upscale DSL services. i have used Vonage on both ATT DSL and Comcast cable with excellent results.

Undecided Question: What is the best phone system for a cabin that is ‘off grid’?

scuffryda Asked: Undecided Question: What is the best phone system for a cabin that is ‘off grid’?

I'm looking for in put on any and all types of systems. Money is no factor. i.e. satellite phone, cell phone tower/booster rig, satellite internet with a Voice Over IP (VoIP) system. please help!

Answered:
It doesn't matter how good your cell phone is. If your signal isn't strong enough to make a cal,l it doesn't make a difference. Most of the time your signal gets blocked by the material the cabin is made out of or by the terrain that it's surrounded by. They best thing to try out is to look into a cell phone booster. A booster takes the signal and brings it indoors as well as making it stronger.Try this website :http://www.seamlesscellular.com/Merchant
