Zero cost calls between Voip users is the big selling point. Also, many Voip providers now offer business users Virtual PBX functionality.
So that’s the answer. It’s very very flexible and extremely cheap.

Cheaper but you’ll be SOL if there’s a power outage.
It also uses less copper (wiring).
its free calls to any number in the US, its cheaper than regualr phone, the quality is much better than regualr phone, you can use your computer along with the phone.. there are tons of reasons it is better, you need to try it yourself and see
